Hi girls, Anybody get the feeling that something is going to happen...being out and can start it off,I was at the supermarket after I put shopping away I started to feel like something was coming on and then it makes you panicky and if you feel you have to get out a very horrible feeling....it comes on sudden after getting excited seeing people I think this is one if the worst symptoms of the menopause.

Might be like the feeling I was having for a while. Usually at work where I deal with the public for up to 10 hours at a time. I would feel like I just had to get away. Like I couldn't cope with the people and I wanted to run away. Sort of an anxious feeling but for no reason because I have no problem doing my job. Seems to have settled now. Was really hard to deal with at the time.

Hi, yes always thinking the worst. Analizing situations that haven't happened, what would I do and say, how would I handle it, stomach churning, panic symptoms etc. Unfortunately, when at work (medical secretary) for 36 years, I had manager with no qualifications and to cut long story short, she was a bitch from hell to all staff and I let her get to me, but, I will not be bullied and stood up to her, telling her exactly what I thought of her, before Intook early retirement at 55, because I was paranoid and felt it was my only option. I now keep going over and over what happened over a year later and can't let it go as with all things that worry me, constant neg thoughts. I never used to be like this. It's horrible, I feel for everyone who experiences these symptoms.
Be well
