Something is wrong. Please help me.

So here is the situation. In 2005 I noticed a lump under the skin of my penis. I was circumcised, but some of the skin reattached and a build up of something was going on under the skin. It wasn't bothering me and I was too terrified to go to the doctor so I ignored it.

Then in late 2015, the area of the lump started feeling ungodly. The sensation in that area is ridiculously hard to explain. It doesn't hurt exactly, but it's hard to describe the feeling. The closest I can describe it is the feeling you gt when you press on a bruise. Sometimes it feels like needles, sometimes it's a dull throb, sometimes it's a surge of what feels like itching, but not quite. Nobody I have ever talked to and nothing I have researched has described these symptoms so I am at a loss.

So six months ago I had a circumcision revision. They cut away the reattached skin and removed the lump. The lump - it turns out - was a build up of smegma under the skin.I was hoping against hope that the surgery would stop that sensation, but it didn't. For the first month it made it feel a million times worse, and today, it still persists. It's not all the time these days, but it will hit at random. When I'm standing, when I'm sitting, when I'm laying down, it will hit me out of the blue. But most importantly, arousal will ALWAYS cause a flair up of whatever this is, whether the penis is hard or not.

The foreskin on the surgery site  has what king of looks to be little cuts in it. Sometimes it will look like normal skin color, but sometimes it will be very, very red. When I google these symptoms, the thing that comes up every time is Balanitis, but the symptoms are not exactly the same. If anyone has any ideas I would welcome them greatly. My life is a living nightmare thanks to what seems to be this un-killable demon.

Sounds like some sort of topical infection. Does the sensation come from the surface of the skin, or feel much more internal? Is it confined to a specific spot? Shaft, glans?

It feels deep sometimes. Sometimes it will only feel that way on the surface, but then sometimes it will feel deeper and kind of up and down the shaft.

Hmm, I know in my post you said I hit the nail on the head. Odd that smegma would internally collect. I know you mentioned you had a circumcision performed. Were you cut from birth and then re-cut, or did you grow up uncircumcised and then opt for it? I haven't had any issues with smegma since I was a kid, but I've been circumcised since birth. I always felt like maybe the doc didn't cut as much as he should have since the skin seemed to still be present to a small degree, but I realize now it's fairly normal.

I asked in your reply to my thread, but do you workout? Heavy lifting straining the legs, squats? What is your daily routine like? Do you sit for long periods of time? I've been told it sounds like I have an over-tightened pelvic floor, but I workout a bit, squats, deadlifts, etc so I have to tighten my kegels for those every time. There are exercises to release this pressure, but the follow up questions would be urine related. Do you have have leakage post-urination like you haven't emptied your bladder fully even though it feels like you have? Any pains or aches in the pelvis, behind the testicles?

My sensations are pretty odd. They seem to hit when I stand or when I'm sitting in a reclined position with my butt and lower back absorbing the most pressure. If I lay on my sides, there's no issues. Same for you, or do you get sensations no matter your resting position?

Also, have you had a decrease in the sensation since you first noticed it? Mine has definitely decreased in frequency and intensity since it started which is just about a month ago.

What happened was I had a penile adhesion, which means that I was circumcised, but some of the skin on the left side reattached over time, and smegma built up under the re-attached skin. I had a surgery to remove the lump five months ago.

The symptoms I described started about three years ago. They were there before the surgery and after. They were the worst immediately after the surgery, but I wouldn't say that it has felt any better since then. It merely happens less frequently. But when it does happen it feels just as bad as it did. I do not work out and have had no issues with urination. No aches or pains anywhere.

My symptoms come about when I perform the same actions. Happens stand or when I'm sitting in a reclined position with my butt and lower back absorbing the most pressure as well. Also, it seems to come about if I am laying down and pull my knees up, or if there is weight on my lower abdomen for a long period of time. Most importantly, arousal will trigger it without - fail, and will cause it to continue intermittently throughout the day. Any thoughts of arousal are like summoning a demon! lol.

And it's only in the area that the build up was. There looks to be some sort of indentation or groove in the skin on that area, but I don't know if that is from the surgery or from something else. Sometimes the skin will look normal and sometimes it will become inflamed.
