Sore/scalded tongue and gums

Posted , 1 user is following.

For the last few days I have had a very sensitive tongue and lower gums. It feels like I've burnt my mouth but I haven't and today it feels even sorer and it's uncomfortable to eat.

There are no physical abnormalities that I can see. I've read a bit about Burning Mouth Syndrome - could it be that?

Do you think I should go to the GP or wait a bit longer to see if it goes away?

Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks.
