My 15 year old son has centronuclear myopathy. He is a candidate for spinal fusion. He currently walks with assistance but only short distances. He was recently diagnosed with 30 degree scoliosis and 80 degree kyphosis. My worry is that he may never walk again after the surgery. And his range of motion will be greatly reduced only to cause him more depression.

He doesn't do hydro therapy right now but it has been encouraged for us to start doing it. I did read that does help with scoliosis. I will speak to wife about starting hydra therapy right away.
Thank you.
