    Hi there,

I'm 51, and this is the story of my life for the last two years. At first, it was heavy bleeding, then spotting for like a month. I felt crazy and went to the doctor for tests, just to rule out other things. That was in 2015. They basically said welcome to the late Perimenopause club, finding nothing else wrong. Now what you are describing is exactly what mine are like. They are short and spotty, or barely there for a day or two then they will go for three months, then I'll have a day of cramps, then maybe an actual period. Then they go again for months, or are so light a pantiliner will handle it. I'd say get a checkup for sure, but you will find a lot of women here with the same kind of thing, so welcome to the club.

Hi, yes this is the same for me. I'm 54 and have constant spotting. I too was nervous about it, but like others I've been checked out and it's "normal". Ha, nothing certainly feels normal. At least it's good to know we are going through this together.
