Stapling external hemorrhoids

Advanced Hemorrhoidectomy?

I had minor surgery last week for hemorrhoids that I had hoped would address external hemorrhoids.

However after surgery I spoke with the surgeon & he said he banded & injected some internal ones, but that he could not operate on the external ones for a few reasons;

-they’re quite large & there’re numerous there

-they go the full way round the anus

-he said surgery would be barbaric & that the pain would be intolerable for months, he’d also be removing of tissue

He is referring me to another surgeon that he hopes can do some sort of stapling procedure. He’d like for the hemorrhoid vein to be accessed from inside the rectum & pulled up, pulling the hemorrhoid into the anus. Then that vein to be stapled & then injected.

It all sounds pretty horrific, just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

    I'm not sure how long you've been dealing with hemorrhoids but I personally went through that procedure over 2 years ago and I have experienced more pain from the surgery than actual hemorrhoids. The pph stapling procedure is not the most effective way in my eyes unless you have nothing left to try. The only relief I get now is from cbd and rso suppositories. I wish my doctor wouldve tried everything else first. I wish you luck and I feel your pain. No one deserves to suffer from this pain
