Start as open red sore and then blister over..what is this

About three weeks ago I noticed some swelling and irritation down there and within a day or so I noticed small open red sores on both sides of the opening. Uncomfortable to the touch and a little itchy. Within a week they blistered over and could be popped and within another week they healed and went away completely . It was gone for about a week and now I've notice they are back. Any ideas what this is I'm really scared it's herpes. Opinions please!!!

    See your doc could be herpes. There are anti vitals to take to lesson the breakout and lidocaine to numb the pain.

    do not rub any other area once blister breakers van spread easily to other areas.

    Hi Lilly,

    This certainly sounds like hsv-2 ( herpes) not anything serious the doc should definitely swab the blisters . Should it be herpes this is easily controlled by Anti viral meds .
