Started taking fluoxetine(prozac)

Hi i started taking fluextine(prozac) 20mg 15 days ago for anxetity and panic attacks 1st side effects were awfull but last 2 days i have felt great but today first thing had panic attack and felt awfull allday. I also have propananol 40mg 3x per day if needed.i get married begining of august and also going away for honey moon and so worried of feeling like this someone please help ?

    Same here. I stopped the dose back in early Feb, got really jacked up went back on 20mg dose March 26. Yes, I have the panic attacks and like others have posted here, it is typical as the stuff gets in your system and starts to build. I have been told it will go away.

    Meanwhile I take Klonopin as necessary to mitigate the anxiety and panic attacks.

    Hi Emma.

    I’m on day 12 and had an ok day yesterday for the first time in weeks but today is SO anxious even though I take Xanax. So I feel you. I can’t concentrate on anything else than this anxious feeling and can’t communicate or socialize when I’m feeling like this.

      Thanks for your reply my doctor is contacting me next week to see how im getting on im so worried if she suggests upping my dose as just dont feel good at all this anxiety this is ruining me life😢

      First 3 weeks are the hardest it seems things get worse before better and recovery comes in waves it’s like one step forward two back ! I’d say give it a bit more time Hun and hopefully they’ll get you anxiety free xx
