Steam room / Sauna safe after minor surgery?

I had a couple small sebaceous cysts excised from my scalp, exactly 1 week ago, and received dissolvable stitches. There is no pain now, and no bleeding since the procedure. Stitches are still in place; surgeon said they will dissolve in 2 weeks.

Surgeon said it's safe to shower and workout 48-hours after the procedure. I forgot to ask about the steam room.

Is it safe? It gets pretty hot inside with full humidity.

If not, how long should I wait? Any reason why I shouldn't?
