still confused. symptoms vs results

hi, after the blood test i have done 8 months post exposure which came bake hsv 2 igm and igg negative / hsv 1 igg positive and igm negative (cold sores since child), i relaxed about this and never had symptoms till now, that i have those blisters.

do you think it can just be some allergy? i just shaved 4 days ago and have been using lace panties.

ill try to swab, but it seems almost impossible to see a doctor before it healing, i tried too many times and they always say that doctor can see me only in 1 or 2 weeks 😕 (small city)

it's TRUE, you could be ghsv2 negative but have ghsv1 on the genitals also .. u need them swabbed to know for sure.. if you've been sexually active lately it could be a new infection of hsv2

after my test results i though that i have genital hsv1 too, even having that type already on my lips since kid and people telling me its rare have it in two sits.

the symptoms that i have its very mild, only had blisters twice in a year, and some cuts from time to time.

only had unprotected oral sex too.

now i just need to swab it to confirm.

Hi Mary, you've had blisters before? Did you ever get the fluid swabbed?

first ob was an big cut that took 3 weeks to heal completely, doctor didnt swabbed and said i was friction from the sexual intercourse, tested me for hiv, syphilis and hepatitis (all negative) - MAY, 2019.

In september (2019) i had blisters, i suspected ghsv and took acyclovir, clear up fast, so i start suspecting hsv more than i was before.

i was always having some vulvar issues too, some paper cuts start appearing from time do time always on the left side of my vulva, the same side that i had the big cut and blisters before.

now, almost one year post exposure, is the second time i am having those blisters.

Never had it swabbed, since i never managed to go to the doctor before it healing, schedules are always only available in a week or two.

thats why in december (2019) i ask for a blood test (8 months post exposure), results: hsv 2 negative both igm and igm, hsv 1 only igg positive.

already had the type 1 on my lips so i tough that the vulvar issues was some type of allergy, but now i'm sure i had the same type on genitals too, even its rare.

just need a swab to confirm, the most difficult part.

oh, hope you can deal with that in the best way.

i have a new boyfriend and already told him about my suspect before we starting having sex, he is ok with that.

i try to read a lot about this to stay positive and now i'm not so anxious about this how i was before.
