It is very important that you take your medications.
It is very important that you do not diagnose your own depression.
Your medications can take upwards of five weeks to get their full benefit so be patient and please do not worry how dangerous these medications are. To be honest these medications are or can be life savers. I have been on them now for many years and I am still around

Bob, my friend, this is not an anti-depressant. It's stronger than valium. It's in the same drug group as valium. Not a good idea for a young lady.

Right, Maria, I missed the post where you said the dose was half of a 0.5mg clonazepam.
Luckily you haven't taken much. It really is very addictive, in the sense that soon you'll want more and more to get the same effect. Some people get addicted to this kind of medicine very quickly. Others don't.
Have the few doses you already took helped you at all? Because I'm going to forecast that they did nothing. You might as well have been given candy. 0.25mg clonazepam is for small children who have seizures.
Bigger doses of clonazepam do calm anxiety - but then you become addicted. How old are you? In your twenties, perhaps?
I said before that you should see a better doctor.
Go and find that better doctor and drink the camomile tea.
Lisa was right when she said 'Shame on your doctor for using this first of all'.
You probably need therapy and possibly some medicine - but clonazepam? At that dose? No, darling girl, I personally wouldn't take that, but others may have different opinions...........look, I was addicted for forty years to drugs just like clonazepam. Don't go down that route!

Buspar is a much better idea, Maria. I am glad to read that someone has given you something useful.
Re - clonazepam - I doubt if you'll feel withdrawal symptoms after only two weeks of a total of 0.5mg a day. I reckon you can stop the clonazepam with no ill-effects right now. The dose you were taking wouldn't calm down a rabbit. Well, maybe a small rabbit........
So - carry on with the Buspar and throw the clonazepam in the trash.
Then post again and tell us if you feel better - but Buspar takes a few weeks before you feel better.
Lots of love, Tess xx
