Strange Period

Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice or thoughts on what is going on. So last month I had a period after skipping a period in October. The period last month was fine, usual length and flow. This month I am/was a week late but I started losing a lot of brown blood over four days and having a small amount of red blood coming away with some small clots. Yesterday and today I've been having what I would term as a normal-ish flow where I've been losing red blood all day instead of having some red blood which tapers off to brown blood like the previous four days. I am 43 years old so I'm assuming this may have something to do with perimenopause.
