Strange side effects?!

Hello all, i have been taking 10mg since september buy recently in the last 2 weeks raised it so to ease into it the doc told me to alternate between 10mg and 20mg each day. But i have been getting odd side effects since raising the dose i can literally go through every emotion in a day the past few days been bursting into tears and getting upset over something so trivial. I also noticed i been over spending money to the point of not realizing hoe much im spending?! Is this normal? Anyone else had the same ?

not sure why your doc is alternating it. I have found any changes to the dosage takes time for side effects to settle down, and for full efficacy to be reached (weeks). I look at is as the body is adjusting to new levels.

Have blown the overdraft when not feeling right. Just go into a world of my own.

must be the retail therapy effect as well. Tends to be worse this time of year :-)

Hi, they are alternating the dose because when i started to take the 20mg everyday i was feeling very spaced out and not myself. But the last week i been feeling all over the place happy, sad and angry all in one day.

What does are u on? And has citalopram made u overspend?

usually takes time to settle down. Just remember side effects drop away and positives then happen.

took me avout 6 weeks to work and longer for side effects to reduce
