Success with which anti depressant - anxiety/depression

i havent had success with anything tried, either feel like a zombie or too high anxiety or nausea etc. A friend recommended lamictal and i dont know anything about its success - anyone here taking it or experience of it

    Hi Ann,

    If you are in the UK, the best advice will be to speak to your GP. He or she will be better placed to talk you through the different options for medication. What works for one person, doesn't necessarily work for another. So even though your friend recommended it, still might be suitable.

    Please talk to your doctor!

      Talked to gp. She said speak to psychiatrist but no appts available. She said write to him explaining you are feeling bad.  I did that on friday. No response.  He obviously thinks i can wait till another 8 weeks till appt.  dont know what to do, the nightmares are awful and the days so difficult to get through. I have bad ideation now and fitful sleep.
