Is it OK to take sudafed tablets.

    Apparently you can use the nasal spray..... I used it occasionally while I was on cit.

    Best not to it can interact badly with cipramil.You can always confirm this with the chemist.

    According to the Pharmacy there is no recorded interaction between citalopram tablets  and Sudafed tablets.

      Phew! I used them when I needed them and had no probs at all.  Never gave it a thought tbh. Usually the nasal spray...

      the only thing I wouldn't take while on cit was anti inflammatory painkillers like ibuprofen

      Thank goodness for that. I was under the impression that Sudafed could react with cipramil but that's good that your che ist said otherwise. I've learnt something!
