To anyone out there taking Valtrex as suppressive therapy, have you noticed any side effects? ie does it affect your period in any way? Weight gain? Headaches? Just thinking of things off the top of my head. I have been taking valacyclovir since Jan. And was just curious

I've been on valacyclovir as a daily suppressant since August I haven't had any issues besides headaches. But nothing to complain about

I've been taking valacyclovir suppressive therepy since November. Haven't had any side effects or issues with periods. Have actually been loosing weight since starting the medicine.

I've been taking valtrex suppressive therapy since August 2016 I think one side effect I have is my vagina feel irritated not badly something I notice front time to time I read online the medication can mimic prodome symptoms

for me I've realized weight gain, viginal skin irritation
And lm very active l workout 5days a week for about 1.5hrs
