Swelling

Does anyone have or had just one leg and foot swell? This has been about 5 yrs now and it drives me nuts!! No pain but especially bad when it’s hot out. I had mentioned to my doctor about 5 yrs ago and he thought it might have been because my thyroid was so outa whack. When i go back for labs this month I’m gonna mention to him again, was just curious if anyone else experiences this? By the way Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies out there❤️❤️

Hi - do you also have tendon aches? I have suffered from Achilles Tendonapathy & my ankles swell (especially my right one) & there are days it is hard to walk -

I’m not sure what that is . But at times in my left foot if i turn it the wrong way it’s a hurt as if something is stretching in the bottom of my foot and it’s painful. And sometimes it feels like there is fluid in the ball of my foot

    Donna,

Yes, when it’s warm out I will get some swelling in my ankles. More so in my left one. It’s fluid and it’s called Edema and not uncommon, hope that helps!

yes Donna..I get that too. It used to be every day when I first went into peri...but as I have aged through this it has lessened a lot. Not painful n doc said it isn't heart related. I notice when I get my 30 minute walks daily (after walking all day as a teacher!) it doesn't swell. i also put legs up a wall while lying on my back for 15 minutes...so relaxing and the swelling goes away. The pain you describe sound like plantar fasciitis...which i have. Got a cortisone shot 3 years ago n I'm still good. I also tore my perineal tendon in the other foot so periodically that one swells too. Wore a boot for a while with that one! Heat n humidity will make them swell for sure.

Hope my story is able to help you relax a little...try my tricks n see if they help!hugs!
