Switching from Escitalopram 10mg to Citalopram 10mg

I been taking Escitalopram 10 mg 3 weeks todays and been feeling worse with chest pain, shaky and like if i am gonna pass out. My dr said to change my medication to Citalopram 10mg would it be the same thing will i start all over??? I have severe anxiaty and depression and Depersonalization i feel confused all the time and like i am detached from my body

    Citalopram honestly made me have depression and severe depersonalisation but it’s different for everyone! I started taking it for anxiety but it unfortunately didn’t work for me, good luck on your journey x

    3 weeks is really early days yet. When I first went on Citalopram, the side effects actually seemed to be a bit worse during the 2nd and even into the third week. And, yes, if you switch over to Cit it will probably be like starting over again.

    ​I personally would give the escitalopram another three weeks or so, to see how the side effects are then.

      I think my anxiaty and depersonalization its worse and i have chest tidde ness like an uncomfortable feeling and very shaky i order some natural pills from the internet called Redicalm they have serotonin and gaba and they supposibly help with depression and anxiaty
