Swollen Lymph node, Fatigue and Recurring Tonsillitis for months

22 bisexual Male here. Been getting some worrying symptoms. For greater clarity I will include the exact dates. On Sept 12th i had unprotected oral sex with a guy (after he orgasmed), on the 14th I noticed that my throat was sore and it was becoming harder to eat and speak. On the 16th I called a doctor to my house and she told me it was tonsillitis, prescribed antibiotics and left. As soon as I started taking them, i felt sleepy and weak but by the 20th/21st I saw some massive improvement and was out to work by the next week (despite feeling weak and sleepy).

The sleepiness only let up when I was walking or standing really so between September 29th and October 1st, I walked a load and I felt amazing. then I felt like myself for about a week but on October 10th I felt the tiredness again but ignored. at some point in the middle I felt a bump in my neck which was relatively small but still I got worried because I read it was a lymph node and those are possible symptoms of HIV. did a test 5 weeks after that sexual encounter and again after 8 weeks and both came negative. Around Oct 24th I had diarrhea and that lasted 2 weeks and the same bump in my neck got huge and was hurting. I noticed three other small bumps appeared as well in different parts. Another doc came, prescribed stronger antibiotics (he saw plaque on my other tonsil as it was only one swollen the first time) and the pain went and the swelling went down some and although the tiredness was there it was significantly less. Figured whatever the f**k I have will go away.

Yesterday (21st Nov) I noticed the swelling began again cause when I touched it, it hurt a little bit. This morning I checked again and it was bigger. Can someone explain to me what I have? It's very worrying and at this point I'm sure it's not HIV but what could it be?

TLDR, gave head to a guy two months ago, after having sex with him and he came (we used protection) got tonsillitis on both tonsils at different times, tired af and swollen lymph nodes in neck that wont seem to go down. Took two HIV tests at 5 and 8 weeks (35 and 55 days) after and both were negative. help me out, what could I have.

    hello, did you do a full std panel or hiv only? I would test at 12 weeks because the results are usually conclusive at that point

      hey I did HIV only and it was an antibody test. got the results back in 2 days.

    hi, as results after 30 50 days are negative, u should not worry.

    there are no exact symptoms, those symptoms are possibility which you cleared out by testing.

    forget all of this. you had protected sex and unprotected oral sex very less chances of WHAT YOU are thinking.

    just keep yourself busy in other stuff. mind plays very big role in making you think u have what u really dont have.

    FORGET IT.

    you are fine.
