Yes. Doing CBT. Been doing it start of the year basically and I don't feel I am getting any better. I am online in my early 20's.

Hi everyone, been back to doctor. No real help given. Because of shoulder pain referred me to someone who can help with this. Nothing for other systoms or anxiety and told to wait until get contacted for CBT although been 3 months and still waiting...
I'm kinda struggling though.... Any tips on how to get through?

This sounds like classic anxiety. I would talk to doctor about anti anxiety med. Once my doctor prescribed an anti anxiety med, my mind and body bagan to clear enough to find ways to help myself.
As to the muscle pain and tightness, this is an anxiety symptom, and it is also likely to be a mineral deficiently, especially magnesium and potassium. I can vouch for the magnesium. When my muscles get rock hard or spasm I spray topical magnesium on my skin, (anywhere) and within seconds or minutes I get relief.
I just asked my doctor to order a full blood panel including magnesium and potasium, and he did. I will go next week. Stay with this forum. These are a wonderful group of caring, helpful people who have all been where you are to some degree, Lukey.
Let us know how you are doing.

You really need to take a whole afternoon to scroll through some of the many anxiety discussions in this forum. You will learn a lot about anxiety, and the many things you can do for yourself.
We can cheer you on, give advice and ideas, and support you, but we cannot take action for you...only you can do that when you are really ready to take your life back. We all have to make that choice sometime, or live with this owning us. Hugs, and a big smoochie on the cheek, Lukey
