Taking vitamins with hyperthyroidism

I am trying to find a multi vitamin and There's one but it has 80 mcg of iodine. Is that ok. It's one a day immunity support multi vitamin. Any input please.

    I don't think you should take oral iodine in any form. My doc has advised me to take un iodised salt because of graves disease. So any over the counter consumption of iodine is not advised.

    I agree. Best to stay away from kelp and high iodine sea foods too.

    i have been taking this: this is the only one i have seen without rainbowlight-Womens-One-Multivitamin.....check the version without iodine in it...

    Ok thanks. I went to see a specialist and labs were last Monday. I tried calling for results and to ask a few questions this being one of them and no one has bothered to contact me back.

    You might be a little safer taking prenatal vitamins. They're safer and they the have a little extra of everything but no there's no iodine. Do some research or consult you doctor. To my knowledge you should not take oral iodine having thyroid decease. Good luck to you!
