Tearing: Do I use clob on my tear?
Posted , 3 users are following.
So here is my question. Any help would be appreciated. I have had LS for several years now on Clob.
Now I have tears which are extremely painful.
My question is the following:
Can I continue to use Clob on the tears or will this make it worse?
I am in complete agony.

Alex, First, I sympathize with you on the tears and pains. What have you tried? How about Vitamin A and D cream? It should be over the counter and is cheap. Second, if there's a tear, you don't want to get it infected so some anti-bacterial ointment like Polysporin might help. Perhaps you need the alternate to steroid, as in Tacrolimus (Protopic) which is an immune system inhibitor. If you have extra virgin coconut oil, try that....best wish You can PM me.

Hi Alex,
so sorry to hear you're in so much pain. I've had similar experiences and know how awful it is. I've used clob on tears, in fact i always do. When my skin tears I also keep it slathered in oilatum emollient which i find gentle and easy to apply, if you arent already just make sure you're applying all the time. I also put it on before the shower when mine is bad and use it to wash. Other things that help me are no underwear (or pj bottoms at night), no soap or shower gel etc. And just a thought- if its recently flared up and wasnt torn before you may want to see a gyn again just to rule out other things making it worse- I get thrush flare ups too so just a thought.
I hope you feel better soon
