temptation

Like many women trying to lose weight I haven't said anything to the folks I work with (especially as most of them are men). So today, when someone brought in cakes for his birthday I have had to test the willpower - especially considering I have to pass thwm to go to the loo and they smell wonderful.

But I am strong. I will prevail.

    Hi Lelly

There is only 2 of us in the office but my colleague is addicted to KitKats, he buys multipacks and they sit in the fridge next to my sad looking fat free yoghurt!

Its hard, but i so want to do this and feel so proud when I resist it. I wanted junk food at the weekend but i thought i'd be so disappointed in myself that I just wouldnt do it to myself.

I am going to set myself a date at the end of each month and on that day and that day only i will have something i really want, like a cake or a mars bar. Than i wont feel so bad cos I know i deserve it by that point!

    Hi Lelly,

Today I feel quite hungry and then I realised why - it was my birthday yesterday and I didn't quite manage to resist the cakes I brought into the office and even kept going through the night - still it's only once a year and everyone needs a treat - nothing happening on the orange slick front so it can't have been that bad

Taking myself off to bingo tonight so hopefully will keep occupied and not fall off the wagon.

    Hay Ho!

Well, just decided to reward my self for my fortitude with.........

    wait for it........

a cup of soup from the drink machine.

Doesn't seem to contain fat as I never react to it but my brain is convinced it is naughty!

    Hi,

Like you all having a bad day today, the tea trolley at work that only sells chocolate and crisps is calling to me right now so instead of filling my face I am using my hands in a different way!

My trigger I am realising is boredom, same as when I used to smoke, so got to do something else! Apparently a craving only lasts three minutes, what if it is every three though!

Will be good and eat an apple and drink water( but imagine it is something nice!and gooey!)

Keep going, we are getting there.

I have now lost 13lb in two weeks and so just another four stone to go!

dunno why it was reported - it was only a link to that healthy anti-crisp poster of the woman drinking the litre of cooking oil

    Hi,

    It is gross isn't it.

Many thanks for the calculator, have managed to open it and when i am not brain dead and craving junk I shall fill it in.

I am now frantically chewing gum and saying my mantra 'I am not hungry'!

Got any tips that help you through your bad times?

    Sasx
