Terrible cycles and symptoms that seem to evolve

Hi all,

Going to try and keep this long story as short as I can.

I have a mild prolapse for 4 years. I'm not posting this in the prolapse groups because I actually have a menstrual cycle question which is of concern.( not sure if prolapse is relevant)

I went to see a specialist only a year ago ( urinary) finally for a diagnosis, he basically told me what I had was so mild it was not worth surgery. ( I am questioning this as I have terrible pressure in the pubic/pelvic area, especially when I stand too long)

Moving on to October the same year I started getting  break through spotting and my pre menstrual migraines started getting worse. Also in October I had started full on, daily intermittent fasting. I let it go, figured at age 48 I am probably having peri menopausal symptoms.I also started having periods late or too long and occasionally heavier, but I still had somewhat of a reliable cycle.

This continued until June this year, when I got my period late, then it lasted a total of 9 days or so, I had two days break, it started again, then when it stopped I had non stop spotting which led in to more bleeding etc, I now have no idea of where exactly I was in my cycle BUT....I did have, a month ago July 10th what appeared to be the start of bleeding after 2 short days of nothing and it begin like this, severe cramping that kept me up until the following morning, followed by period heavier but consistent flow. I flooded for about 10 seconds? 2 that day, it gushed out, absolutely frightened me and once the gush had stopped after about 10 seconds I get a normal flow in between, this happened for one day.

so, I went to my Naturopath 13th July, she gave me a herbal medication ( prescription only) to level hormones, told me I had to change the way that I fast so that my hormone production is good as fasting affects the gallbladder. The following day after one day of medication, bleeding stopped (yay) She absolutely does not think it is peri menopause. She was certain that my fasting is an issue.......continuing on, for two days no bleeding, then pinkish discharge until the 18th July when I started bleeding and had this odd 'morning and afternoon flooding thing' again going on. Then, 21st July, had another heavy flood in the morning and then as always not much happening at all.Normal bleeding which lasted until the 26th July when it stopped like a normal period would?( yay again) and had NOTHING until 8th of August. So, 8th of August was a weird event, I had what felt like severe muscular pain, not period pain, it started above the pubic bone, around my hips and lower back, now I don't know if this is related to my period, it did NOT feel like menstrual cramps, had it all during the night but I did start bleeding again the morning after. There have been tummy bugs going around where I live ( My daughter had something the night prior but hers was more like gastro), so that's also a possibility.

Ok so first day of bleeding again, just normal, then today I had a flood ( not until evening) but it was not nearly as bad as what I had the previous time, then tonight I had a giant blood clot!!!! Honestly, I thought that I was starting to level this thing out and I know this can take time on this herbal medication, months even but now I am wondering, does the blood clot rather than flooding mean that this is slowing down or getting worse? I need for this to do something, anything to give me a clear break so that I can have my prolapse re assessed and I can't go to the doctors like 'this'. Can anyone give me some insight please.....
