I was tested for Graves disease and my results are back but my dr isn't in today to tell me if I have it or not. I want and picked and picked up my results from the lab and this is what they are.
12. %inhibitation. Reference Range < OR = 16.
Any idea what this means?

TBII is a test for Graves antibodies. TBII is what they test in Canada. In the States, they prefer to test TRAb for Graves antibodies. So your TBII test result is negative for Graves Disease. When I was diagnosed, I was tested for TBII, anti-TPO (a test that measures the amount of inflammation and if high can be one indicator of Hashimoto's disease). It can also be high with Graves. I also had a thyroid ultrasound, a thryoid uptake scan as well as the usual thyroid blood tests. My doc was very thorough before confirming the diagnosis of Graves. I would ask your doc if he/she tested anything else. If he/she says no, I would request the anti-TPO test.
