Thanking a GP

Posted , 1 user is following.

Ive been seeing my docter for about 3 weeks now about my depression. She has put me on fluoxetine, im on my 7th day of it and so far havent noticed any different in the way i am feeling, she did say it would take a while.

I have been feeling like i want to kill myself, but for some reason when i go to swallow these poppers i have i just cannot do it.

Anyway, most docters are \"here's your pills\" and send you on your way. She is soooo different, how the hell do i thank her? Is it wroung to send a thank you card to her?

    Hi there Mal99

I see nothing wrong with sending a thank you card. I did the same a few weeks ago after a spell of depression.

    Thanks Melbi

Do you think i should send it to the surgery just addressed to her or actually give it to her while im at a appointment? Id be abit scared to do it face to face though!

    Hi again

Which ever way you feel comfortable. Either way I'm quite sure your GP will appreciate the gesture.
