The fatigue !!! Agh!!!!

Posted , 7 users are following.

I had a night out last night ... naughty me ! Home by 9pm asleep by 10.45 awake at 7.30am tonight I’m paying for it . Ready for bed st 6pm and trying to stay up but can’t Keep my eyes open . Trying to reregulate my clock and it’s not working 😩 I want to stay up later and get up later so I can have a life  . If I’m a ‘good girl’ and don’t do anything fun I’m better but it’s no life .

Anybody else have this PROBLEM ????

    Hi Lori

Not so much now, but previously yes. I don't think there's a magic cure for that really, only that it got better the longer I was on bhrt. To be honest my mother always said, if you're hungry eat if you're sad cry, if you're tired sleep. In other words just don't fight it. You obviously just need more time to rest for your body to heal, so go with it..... You won't sleep yourself to death, and it will pass. On the plus side, so glad you went out last night.... Good for you smile

      Hi sassy

That’s such good news ... that the BHRT helped with time . I’m on BHRT and must try to be patient I’m expecting results overnight and know that’s not how it works.

I’ve just been so nervous about everything all the changes etc sent my nerves into overload and unable to relax in my body . Here’s hoping ! 😀

    Hi lori

    Its me again lol

Been talking to you on another thread.

Defo good you went out but yes if i do manage to go out and socialise it takes me a very long time to recover.

Which just sets off the whole anxiety adrenaline train but to be honest it dont take much for that to happen.

Thinking about cooking dinner these days can send me in a panic!!!!

    Im 50 just post meno.

Was in peri 10 years x

Good to hear I’m not the only one ... it’s not like I drank a lot just one glass of wine but yes it takes a day or two to recover .  And yes the anxiety of all this sends adrenals into overload you’re always worrying and never completely relaxed or at ease.

Yes I used to cook all day have people over for dinner .... not done that in over a year. Can’t be bothered don’t have the energy!

      Hi carol

I’m taking an iron pill too and many other vitamins . I think it’s not helping that I force myself to work out when I’m really fatigued ... it’s just that I feel so good and somewhat normal afterwards. The only good feeling I get all day 😖

Hi lori...so sorry you feel this way and i know what you mean about the feeling from exercise but its about balance and thsts the hard but. Going easy on our bodies but allowing the downtime to rest to help us get through it ...this will pass !! Go eaay ...CK

Thank you Carol! Yes it’s tough as the only time I feel good and ‘normal’ is after I workout . I gotta try and do less but I love it and love having a good body .
