The joy of recovery...PT

Posted , 5 users are following.

Well my physician thought I wouldn't need PT and due to being two full weeks off non-weight bearing plus two weeks 50/50 weight, I insisted on getting PT.  I cannot tell you how glad I am that I am in a sate of joy during recovery.  I love the exercises because I'm with someone who has done 1000s of these.  There are no doubt a load of questions you probably have during recovery.  I barraged this poor woman with questions so I think you will really be glad you did it as well.  I just wanted to pass on all the fun I'm having.  This is week 2 and I've made huge advances in my range of motion and my pain level has dropped massively so I'm walking more and more without my cane.

Good to read that your PT is going well.

One thing I really like about THIS forum is that we can say a lot that we want and need to.

Sounds like we're not far apart in recovery, tomorrow will be 3 weeks for me.

Today I went out for a shortie (1 mile) walk without sticks ... that felt like a real step forward.

Well done for progressing well, we should all be asking questions, we need to understand what is going on.
