Is anyone else on this Trial? Diagnosed 7 years ago as a result of serious pains in my pelvis (Gleason score 8, PSA 1,300) and have been OK ever since. I started with six cycles of Chemo, followed by Zoladex implants every 3 months (which still continue). I'm now 72, see my Oncologist every 6 months for a routine update. Sex-life zero. Hot flushes continue. Apart from that, "life goes on" and I'm a happy bunny. Anyone else with the same experience, same treatment - or very different? I should say I live in Scotland where the NHS covers all the costs (whatever they are?)

Hi Frank,
Ooh, does that mean I've got at least 4 more years to go ? Yay!
3 years ago, at 70, I had Gleason 4+5, T4 Metastatic , PSA 1,650
Volunteered for STAMPEDE and was allocated to Arm J, Daily Enzalutamide caps, Abiraterone tabs and Prednisolone tabs, in addition to standard hormone injections. Expensive therapy but paid for by drug companies and Medical Research Council, so not costing the NHS anything for the caps/tabs. I'm reviewed monthly and PSA now at last under 20. Initially had lymphodoema, waist downwards and generally felt dreadful. Had a TURP, which was a wonderful practical improvement to urine flow and no longer have to plan my day according to convenient succession of conveniences. Now recently feeling much as you describe. Tired all the time but don't get significantly tireder doing moderate DIY.
Cheers
Ken
