Hi Sharon. I have only ever been on 20mg of Cipramil and in my opinion the perks definitely outweigh the side effect. Personally, when starting the first time for the first few weeks I was extremely nauseaous, had lack of sex drive, had quite bad anxiety (took 1mg Ativan to help cope with that... when needed), mild headaches and a little dry mouth from what I can rememeber. However, this did not last long and I started feeling so much better after only about 2 weeks later. The "cloud" of depression completely began to lift and I started to feel like my old self again with the motivation and will to do what I used to enjoy.

    Good Luck & Keep Possitive

Ohhhhhh my word well I can see me going the same way to be honest I can't stop eating, I don't seem to feel full. I'm not going to take these for long. I was on Citalapram until a week ago but they gave me terrible migraines and insomnia. Can't win really I either get fat or tired and migraines, it's a nightmare.

I felt like that too bt then realised it's sugar that I'm craving. Jelly sweets that's it. And only after iv taken the pill too. There's me leaving this to go on yours too.. just evil isn't it 😕 iv done alot of research & that craving won't go away .. because mirt acts as a hestime blocker which is making our insulin take all the sugar out of our blood .. hence sugar craves trying to replace . So it's a battle .

It is a nightmare Sharon, but Citalopram works for a lot of people just didn't agree with me. You will probably be fine with it. Although the first 2 weeks were tough with the side effects. But after that it was fine other than the insomnia and migraine but you may not get either.

Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you.

      Best wishes
