i have read a ton of books, scholar articles, clinical trials..etc..stuff on this mainly because i want to reverse it myself. The meta physical end of it is extremly promising to me as well. Anyway, i just think science is lagging and hasnt really deveoped the proper "scans" yet to see certain aspects like inflammation. The spect and heat scans are closer to it but still missing the boat. I think we all have inflammation and its messing us up. Yes theres a lot of research in this and it is the focus in many studies so be alert as they bring in flexiril, gabapentin and some other anti inflammatries into the mix to treat all this. Simple things we can all do is anti inflammation diets and keep hydrated. Hard and takes discipline but might be well worth it. They have strongly realize gentics is involved and that many meds standard to this field arent working whether its because they arent dosed correctly to a persons metabolism or basically not targeting to the issue causing it. Thats a statistical fact, but many have learned to manage it or at times rid it so somehow its controllable. Lifestyle changes, diet, our thoughts maybe it decreases inflammation somehow. You do have to wonder if the chemicals shooting thru the nerves and such cause inflammation making it worse or visa versa, makes sense, if you poured acid, even if it natural to the body, if you poured acid thru your body wouldnt it irritate it and inflame it? Giving you a bunch of symptoms. Adrenaline, cortisol and epinephrine are like battery acid. I do not think its all "mental" ..Yes our bodies heal from the irritation but if it cycles over and over it just has to make things worse. I dont know im thinking out loud here but there is something here thats biologically based thats all i know. Inflammation would and could cause mal functions. What maked me wrote this..oddly my cable went out. I watched the guy go mad trying to find out why. Running from box to box, running to the poles.sending signals thru it to find the glitz.checking everything..finally he took out a infer red light and shot it thru the wires..its fiber optics..and low and behold he found it right in the box at my house. It lite up a crimp. A stupid crimp in one tiny wire that stopped the fiber optics from going in route to the power source. Ruined the whole system but yet the whole system was perfect. And yes some stuff oddly worked but when he showed me the wire with the red dot on it and said here you see this did, i replaced it and it all works now..it was a weird light bulb that went off in my mind. That could be me.only we dont have fiber optics to shoot a red light thru our systems. I dont know it just made me think. I also have some weird washing machine sound in ine ear from having a sinus infection and it just would make sense if something like this can and does hapoen in us.

Inflammation could be a a culprit. But it could also be the outcome. Like you said, adrenaline and cortisol are irritants. Irritate the system long enough and the valves no longer flap properly But then we are back to square one of the egg vs chicken dilemma. I don't think it is mental at all either actually. But i am not sure that inflammation is causing the disturbance. I think it is the outcome of a different kind of malfunction. Question being, why are we shooting all that cortisol and adrenalin to begin with. I was thinking dna changes caused by viral infections? Antibiotic overload damage? Gut flora issues? A blow to the head when we were kids? LOL Combination of the above? Research does need to access this form more angles... How very frustrating it is to have all these theories and not be able to test them. Perhaps we should start our own research program?
