Hello I am 27 female that has been dealing with anxiety for 7 yrs now off and on... But jus in July it flared back up again but was never this bad or lasted this long. I have tingling in my hands and feet on the left side, chest pains ,back pain, headaches, terrible stomach aches, one point had a loss of appetite And lost weight. Now that I have my appetite back I can't eat without my stomach hurting badly. I've had all type of blood work done, ekgs, in and out the hospital three or four time a month. I don't know what else to do!!!! It's driving me insane. Sometimes I can't even get out of the bed. Now it has gotten to the point where I can't breath while I'm sleeping and find myself jumping up out of my sleep. I can't sleep even when I'm sleepy. This sucks and I feel like I'm dying... Feel like my dr is missing something. I jus wanna go bak to my normal self!! HELP PLEASE!!!

Sounds like the typical panic attack. Not sure in the stomach issue maybe try taking an acid reducer for a couple of weeks. Anxiety is so exhausting and annoying. Go on youtube and try meditations for anxiety or panic. Mindfullness stuff. It will calm down again you must believe that right now you are in a valley but soon there will be a peak if that makes sense. Make sure you are drinking water at least 60 a day. Let it the water at least provide your body with hydration and flush your stomach. It will all pass soon youll see. If possible walk a lot. Even walking around your house or in your yard. Mive about so your circulation gets moving and use up some of that adrenaline. I wish you well. Ive been dealing with this for over twenty years and many ups and downs. It really stinks but you know and i know it does pass after a while. The sleeping thing stinks, thats half the problem here because well rested is like arming the body. I walk and walk and try to exhaust myself..meditatiins somehow put me to sleep though.not sure thats their purpose but it works after a while.

    You sound just like me

I get terrible chest pains. My heart races. For the past week it's been a daily thing that I can't breath. I had a panic attack today. Been to the ER numerous times. Heart tests MRI on my brain. Breathing tests which shows some asthma. But that's the only thing other then my anxiety which is kicking my butt. This has been going on for about 2 years but is getting worse. I just went to a psychiatrist and am on meds which is helping but had to switch last week so now I'm in the phase of adjusting to this one. It's hard but I'm here to talk!

Do you have these symptoms even when you are not having an anxiety attack? Mine seem to still be here even when I am not stressing about anything. I could be relaxing or working and the symptoms Come out of no where.

Yes they hit me out of no where. I can even have anxiety over something and have none of the bad symptoms. These bother me all the time and will hit me even when I'm just laying on the couch watching tv. I don't have to have an anxiety attack for the symptoms to come on. My doctor said that my anxiety is so bad and my mind runs 24/7 about things that is why it bothers me all the time

I do take mirtazapine at night and it has completely changed my life as far as sleeping. I have never slept through the night and now I get a good nights sleep 95% of the time

And I have just started Paxil in the mornings

    hello

it's like a light sitch, one minute you can feel pretty good and then the next on the floor crying, even a certain scene on the tv can bring it on, i only had a cple of panic attacks, i decided it was time to research and control them and it seems to have worked, but the symptoms you are discribing can be constant and for some for many weeks, they should subside but you have to try and control the racing thoughts and negative thinking, and that alone is a task ,but with correct help it can be done, take care

Sounds like me, this seems to get worse when you have mental stress and workload. Try to reduce your workpload and get more relaxation, perhaps medication and yoga. They help a lot. Good luck

This is driving me insane.... I jus want my life back!!!! Everyday is a struggle for me. Especially at night I can't sleep i toss and turn all night. When I lay down flat it's hard to breath while I'm sleeping but when I sit up I'm fine. So now I have to sit up and sleep. Has anybody else experienced this?!?!?

This has happened to me for years on and off. Palpatations and not able to sleep and breathe. I used herbs to sleep (valeriane) and did my best to relax myself and stop non stop thinking and worries. This has taken time, but works... Just in case you should get checked your stomach and heart condition, to make sure they are OK. To get  started reducing the anxiety you could read a book called "Power of Now" be Eckhart Tolle. This has practical steps to remain calm and manage your thougths. Hope you will be well soon. Take care

Oh, i have very similar condition, two weeks ago woke up at night thinking that i have a hart attack, couldnt breath, but after few deap breaths i managed to calm down, but the anxiety hasnt left, i ended up going to A&E as everyone else as i had bad pains in my chest and couldnt control my breathing. My health was everything good too, so i just myself realised that it must me anxiety, went to doctor and asked for counceling, but dont know how long it will take to get the appointment.

I started doing a lot of yoga before bed as for me the same nights are the worst jumping all the time with stragling to breath, i been practising now to come down and try to think as little as i can, of course its

doesnt work all the time, but we have to stay possitive.

    All the best for you.
