Tight and Redness Under Foreskin:

Posted , 4 users are following.

imageThis is a more detailed and update from a previous post that I made. A few months ago now, I been having this redness under the foreskin and a milky like substance coming from around the sides(I think It may be Smegma) even though I kept the area clean it still comes. I've always had tight foreskin where I can only partially retract it and it's never given me any issues until the last few months. How long does it clear the redness away because I been using a cream for two days now. I will show in a few images below. image

u should consider surgery before it causes damage

it would most probably require circumcision to wat extent im not sure a doctor would need to asses the severity looking at it it looks quite severe as seems to be constricting the glans i would seriously consider it as one day u could have a very nasty accident and cause a whole host of problems the skin to tear and the glans could rupture

recovery time is different for everyone some people recover within a week sometimes it can take longer

is your foreskin stuck behind your glans(head)? if not than it could just be a simple yeast infection. you can buy some antifungal cream over the counter. its called Lotrimin AF. apple every 2/3 hours. don't use soap on your penis. the glans is an internal organ and just like the vagina, soap shouldn't be used to clean just warm water.

you do not need to be circumcised. circumcision is only necessary when there is necrosis or gangrene on the penis.

swelling, redness and discharge are all classic signs of yeast infection. yeast infections affect all genders regardless of having foreskin or not. in fact studies show that a circumcised man is just as likely to get an infection as an uncircumcised man. females are way more likely to get an infection than a male is.

What is the cream you have been using? The milky white substance is pre-ejaculate, because your foreskin is not functioning as it should this will be very easily produced to help as a lube.

I agree with Bgarcia on this one - circumcision should be the last option you should consider as you can get problems associated with circumcision.

The cream is called 1% Clotrimazole it's for the redness as I'm concerned it's balanitis. So, keeping the area as clean as possible and applying this twice daily as instructed and also doing the stretches.

it dont look like candida balanitis did u go see a doctor for the cream ? they can prescribe a steroid for phimosis

phimoses itself doesn't cause these symptoms. many men and females live their whole lives with "phimoses" which is the inability to retract the foreskin behind the glans. i can clearly see the mans glans and frenulum in the pic.

he clearly states in his post he can only partially retract the foreskin and that he has always had that issue its not something that is going to correct itself by putting clotrimazole cream on it twice daily as this issue he has is long term he needs to see a doctor for a qualified opinion

If you do not have an infection present then you could end up doing harm to the skin on the head of your penis.

You need to be aware that Balanitis is NOT a specific diagnosis - it simply is a description for redness and irritation present on the head/glans and/or foreskin of the penis - it does not specify cause or how to go about treating it. So if you are using the Clotrimazole because you are "concerned" it is balanitis you may end up doing more harm than good.

As Kim suggests the best option for you may be to see a Doctor and get a mild steroid ointment that will help, both, to treat any possible infections that are present and to help you to do the stretches.

you need to apply way more than twice a day. that is not enough for yeast. you more than likely do not have tight foreskin. it looks tight bc its swollen and thats a sign that your body is telling you that you have an overgrowth of yeast. keep your foreskin pulled over your glans.

Balantis isnt even a legitimate diagnosis. all that means is that you have inflammation in the foreskin or glans ... doesn't necessarily tell you why.

How many times would you recommend applying the cream? I can't retract all the way back.

you dont need to retract all the way or even at all. just slather a good amount on your penis, apply a generous amount. 2/3 hours until symptoms are gone and do for another 2 days or so. you can also take a probiotic if you are one to suffer from yeast.

So doing that will get rid of the redness. Thank you for the advice. 😃

it will get rid of yeast. yeast symptoms are redness, swelling and discharge. make sure not to wash your glans, inside the foreskin with soap.

I've pulled my foreskin back but it won't go back of my glands. What do I do.
