Im now almost 4 weeks post op and today I've had a strange sensation in my buttocks, a bit like pins and needles. Can anyone advise if this is normal or is it completely unrelated? Thanks

I haven't felt it before though, Matron. I did have a lot of pain in my buttocks for the first few days after the op but this is different.

Which op did you have gaynor? Sacrospinous fixation might cause that as the surgeon puts stitches in the sacro ligaments and i've been told i will get pain in my buttock, whichever side they do it!

Hi Pollyanna. I had enterocele and rectocele repairs done. It's a really weird and unpleasant sensation. I've taken paracetamol and ibuprofen but to no avail. Hopefully it will pass.
