hi, i was diagnosed with TMJ last christmas after a few years of jaw pain. it comes and goes, do i can have months or weeks of feeling fine and then i start to experience pain what i think is due to the TMJ. alot of the pain is on the left side of my head near my temple, ear, cheek bone and jaw. but i also have a sore neck! moving my neck i can feel grinding and cracking and i get headaches that seem to stem from my neck! anyone experience this with TMJ? i have the usual symptoms of jaw cracking when opening, sore jaw and ear etc. but ive been experiencing more headaches (nothing bad) just more of a dull ache left side. i have anxiety so im worrying about all sorts. i also get shoulder and arm pain.

hello, yes the same with me, prone to migraines which my doctor says are hormonal/menopause, my oral surgery specialist says its part of tmj muscular problems. i can have pain up by my eye socket and sinuses plus under jaw into neck. everything is connected unfortunately, so one bit goes wrong and the rest follows!
