Toothache

I've had a toothache now for a couple weeks I went to the dentist and they told me I had to get 10 teeth pulled, I'm deathly afraid of the dentist that's why i never went, and also because I didn't have insurance so I wasn't able to go. I have this one tooth on the front left side the 10th or 11th from the top right side, and the never is exposed i can't even open my mouth and breath without it hurting if I gently brush my tounge against it im in agony, I can see the nerve is there anyway i can cut it myself or take tweezers and pull it out?

Oh my god no ....please don't touch nerves. That is dangerous and likely to land you in hospital. I would be much less afraid of going to the dentist than doing that. They can sedate you.

In the uk you can go to dental hospital for problems like that. Not sure you can do that in the states.

Please don't try to do anything like that yourself.

Jacqueline, You say it's killing you. I'm sorry, but it might do just that if you don't get to a dentist. You're going to get an abscess if you haven't already got one. I'm a former neuro nurse and I saw several people with brain abscesses originating from teeth. Not all of them came back from it.

You've got to get to some kind of dental clinic. I live in a continental European country where we have to have insurance too, but there are still free or low-cost clinics people can get to in an emergency like yours.

Please don't mess around with your health like this.
