Hi. Has anyone else been offered APOStherapy for a torn cartilage with no other underlying symptoms (osteoarthritis or similar). I would like some views on this as all the testimonies appear to be sponsored by the company and patients have arthritis that happen to have a torn cartilage but not suffering from any of the symptoms (like so many people according to my Consultant). Just the arthritis classic joint issues.
Thank you.

I tore my left knee meniscus almost two years ago, I was a patient with AposTherapy at the time for knee pain in my right knee(not the knee to have the torn meniscus). I have osteoarthritis in both knees, hips, wrists etc., unfortunately osteoarthritis is in my family and although I am only 56 I have it in most of my joints already. I became a patient with AposTherapy in 2013 and I can honestly say it's made a huge difference to my mobility, agility and as a result my state of mind! Pain can be so depressing and robs you of your enjopyment of life, you don't sleep properly, you feel under the weather, you have no energy and you get depressed. Today I am a completely different person, when I went t AposTherapy in February 2013 I had been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knees and hips, my shoulder joints, wrists, hands. I started on their programme and just wearing the shoes for an hur a day it has kept me pain free and moving. Then in Summer of 2014 I tore my meniscus at the root in my left knee by overdoing things! I felt so good that I overdid things and stressed out my knee with the resultant torn meniscus. I was devastated, I thought thats it I will have to undergo knee surgery. I am very pleased to report that AposTherapy were able to manipulate the shoes (each shoes is different) and I am still pain free and still surgery free. AposTherapy cannot stop the ravages of osteoarthritis but they help to alleviate pain and keep you mobile. They also delay any surgery that may have to enevitably take place. I have not had my cartilage trimmed or had need to have any invasive surgery to date, it doesn't mean that I won't have to have surgery sometime in the future but wearing my AposTherapy shoes every day for at least an hour I am strong, pain free and yes still have a torn meniscus which I can say I am blissfully not being held back by.. I swim every day before work to keep flxible and wear my AposTherapy, I really would recommend them to anyone having any doubts. The shoes have changed my life and I am able to live my life without being impaired by my injury or my osteoarthritis. I evne run for the train (thankfully not often) but if I have to I can!
I hope this has helped to encourage you to try AposTherapy. I know the cost is a factor that puts many people off, I had to max out my credit card to sign up but I can say the benefits are far greater and have outlived the money psent and I would do it all again.
