TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY , BSO AND OMENTECTOMY

3 weeks post op I now have large swelling above the incision has anybody else had this occur

    Hi, I'm 8 weeks post abdo  hysterectomy on Thursday......i still have a ridge above my incision line which sometimes is quite prominent depending on how much I do....it's still a bit numb to touch around that area too....it's not In one place though..so if yours is you may want to get it checked out in case there is a collection.....is it painful, red or hot  to touch.... Do you feel feverish....if you have any of these I would be tempted  to see the GP x

      Thanks for the reply my swelling is in 1 place just above the incision line ,it gets uncomfortable when I have been sitting up for to long or after a meal , can only eat small amounts before I feel really boated or sick , going to see GP as worried it could be hernia as after op I was vomiting for days then constipated,still need to use stool softener now

    i had the same procedure  I am only day 15 I just feel tender above scar
