Totally confused.

I had my last period 20 months ago.since then I get the hot flushes and anxiety attacks but generally feeling good but last week I suddenly had the wound up feeling I used to get before a period.i really had it bad ,snapping at anyone and everyone.hated the world and everyone in it.after 3/4 days it passed.is this normal?

    Yes its normal in perimenopause because the hormones are all over the place. Please do not let your hormones control you you can control your hormones 

    I tent to get angry and snap at people even my boyfriend and i don't mean it and i tend to yell but the only person i am hurting is myself becsuse blood pressure can go up, heart rate can go up, and then the anxieties hit believe me its done it with me 

    When you know that you are about to start your period and you feel the emotions kicking in you should take some time for yourself until it passes that way you can be to yourself and not snap at people.

    Hang in there remember relaxation yoga and taking time for yourself will help

    and embarassing, everyone thinks your a COW !!!rolleyes

    I was visiting relatives last week, most of the time I moaned, or was tearful, rowing, but I know that this is not me sad

    I used to get PMT for 5 to 7 days and knew what it was, now it seems like I am A PMT MANIAC for 28 days of the month, I don't know how I'm going to feel from one day to the next

    Horrendous, I get so depressed OVER NOTHING

    and Fatigued all the time

    I wouldn't mind if I was still having periods cos that's expected but to go nearly 2 years without bleeding or getting wound up it hit me like a ton of bricks.still haven't bled just getting angry and snappy.

      I know hun, it's just awful, I can't stop crying here FOR NO REAL REASON cry

      I'm glad that I've not got a husband because he'd probably have left me lol

      The thing I find the hardest is that employers really don't understand. It's tough trying to carry on...............................................

    When I was having periods my husband got used to my monthly meltdowns but when I started kicking off last week he thought he had done something wrong.he had got use to the' nice' Linda then suddenly the 'monster' Linda appeared.good night fellow sufferers x
