Treated for Pneumonia, but small streaks of blood in phlegm 2 weeks later.

I was recently treated for pneumonia with antibiotics, and during that time I had very bad coughs.

Its been a couple weeks since the end of the antibiotics course and I'm feeling great again, no symptoms whatsoever.

6 days ago I tasted blood in my mouth, forced out some phlegm and it had some streaks of blood.

Today, the same happened. The phlegm is usually white, but sometimes yellow.

I do intense work-outs that cause my breathing rate to rise a lot, so maybe that ruptures blood vessels?

What is causing this blood?

If you are getting blood in your phlegm you need to speak to a doctor about it very soon. It could be something serious.
