Yes, lately my left eye twitches all the time. I'll look in the mirror and watch it!

I am so glad I found this forum because I was able to read about everything (including twitchy eyes) I have experienced for the past 7 plus years related to peri. Am now 11 months into the the one year ride of no period. Yaay. It does get bettr as time goes on. Eliminating sugar, caffeine and alcohol seems to help several annoying symptoms.

Yes, definitely eliminating those three help! Big time. It does suck not having them though. I treat myself now and then but I think sugar is the worst culprit.

I feel like I say yes to every question out there. LOL YES, yes, yes...... Last Friday my left eye was twitching all day. Drove me crazy! I can't even wear make up anymore, sweats right off me. I look like I have raccoon eyes all the time.

raises hand! Yep, me too. It's always my left eye. What is up with the left eye?!!!
It started a couple of years ago. I started on a statin drug and thought it was the statin because when I stopped the statin the twitching went away immediately. Then a month ago my cholesterol levels went up again after trying to control it with healthy eating and exercise so my doctor told me I really needed to go back on the statin. My eye started twitching again but I know it's not the statin because it started before I went back on the statin again. Now it's just off and on. It's not as continuous as the previous years but it's still annoying as heck! I guess if I had to compare the various peri menopause symptoms I have been experiencing the last couple of years, the twitching isn't as bad. (trying to keep a positive outlook) 😃
I have resigned to the fact that these things are my new normal and to try to cope through with it and hopefully "this too shall pass".
