Hi all,

I feel like I have reached rock bottom. All I want to do is cry everyday is basically sh*te!

I'm currently experiencing shoulder pain, painful burning right breast - i had painful lumps appear overnight that feel like aqua beads! GP thought they were cysts and gave me antibiotics that didn't help. Now my armpit is sore but along the line where your bra sits no obvious lumps there and the ones in my boob are getting smaller. I had a mammogram in Feb that was all clear.

My health anxiety is through the roof and I'm really struggling to function I feel like there is no end to any of it.

I have a coil so no periods, I've has a pelvic US that showed a 7mm uterine lining, sonographer wrote i have a perimenopausal womb!!! I've had every blood test going and all clear.

Can everything really just be hormones

Hi, It was OK I actually felt listened to. I'm in Peri and was offered HRT but I'd like to do some research 1st and then will discuss it further. She said when ever I decide it is an option. My boob exam was fine she couldn't feel any lumps so all good on that front. My pelvic scan was fine (I knew that already) all my bloods were fine except 1. One of inflammatory ones was high but she wasn't worried said I could have had a cold on the day. Going to repeat that one in a couple of weeks when the dreaded Covid has left my house. Been referred to physio for my shoulder to see if that helps and I've got an appointment for that next week and another one to have my coil out (and not replaced)

I do feel a bit more positive about everything at the moment.

      How are you doing today?

ah that's brilliant is the boob pain associated with perimenopause? Did she say anything about the pain your are experiencing?

I'm so pleased you have peace of mind.

I had the booster on Tuesday my arm has been killing me into my neck! im in pain taking paracetamols.

This is the last time I'm taking any jab.

Hi, yes all hormonal and when I was at the breast clinic last year the breast consultant told me boobs do funny things

She advised that a blood test wouldn't say if I was peri and that she relies on me knowing my body and symptoms.

My arm was like that after my booster but I'm glad I had it. My son, daughter and son in law all caught Covid over Christmas and touch wood I'm still negative.

Work today and then its the weekend do you have anything nice planned?

      Sarah x

thanks that brings comfort. how long did you arm hurt? I'm on my 3rd day still sore:(

I will be resting over the weekend as work will be crazy next week

my arm hurt for 11 days lovely, keep an eye out for any swelling and if you get it use ice and an antihistamine, that was the first and second jab, apparently the booster is only half dose xx

i havent had booster yet! to be honest ive had a terrible week, reflux, gastritis, cough, rib pain, had enough lovely, how are you? xx

sending you hugs.....did you get through to the specialist for your gastritis?

im ok arm feels better....was constipated after all painkillers. Seeing the specialist about my piles this week feeling anxious and then the week after the gynaecologist about my polyp. Just want these hospital appointments out of the way.

When my gastritis is bad I get severe rib pain and sleepless nights.

You are doing what you can to ease them? Keep us with you water and your diet and don't stress as this does make it worse. It's definitely perimenopause as I've had it for 3 years now. I'm off the antiacids only take them when I'm in pain.

Are you taking antiacids? The Roobios tea is a life saver for me and only drink it twice a week due to the estrogen effects.

May i ask what kind of health benefit do you see by drinking Roobios tea ? i read about it but haven't tried one yet . Thank you.

hi lovely, the so called gastro said he rang my number and couldnt leave a voice message (which is a blantent lie, i have voicemail and carried my phone around all day) so now theyre apparently going to set up a face to face in 3 months, we shall see, already waited over a year for the blooming call. i just bought some ginger to make ginger tea. i cant take ppis as i get awful side effects, tried rennies and even those made me ill grrrrr. try not to worry about the appointments, easier said than done i know but they will come and go xx
