Unable to cope anymore

Hi all,

I feel like I have reached rock bottom. All I want to do is cry everyday is basically sh*te!

I'm currently experiencing shoulder pain, painful burning right breast - i had painful lumps appear overnight that feel like aqua beads! GP thought they were cysts and gave me antibiotics that didn't help. Now my armpit is sore but along the line where your bra sits no obvious lumps there and the ones in my boob are getting smaller. I had a mammogram in Feb that was all clear.

My health anxiety is through the roof and I'm really struggling to function I feel like there is no end to any of it.

I have a coil so no periods, I've has a pelvic US that showed a 7mm uterine lining, sonographer wrote i have a perimenopausal womb!!! I've had every blood test going and all clear.

Can everything really just be hormones

very sad to hear you suffer so deeply in menopause. I am certain hormones cause all this havoc for us. I have no advice of course, only compassion and relating. so many of us are so unhappy here. Hormone therapy and 5 thousand other things have not helped me, and many other women here. I wish there was a solution. I suppose some of us just have a dreadful menopause! perhaps it will improve in time for you? I hope so. I am actually worse now that i am post menopause and I did not expect this. I agree that coping is impossible!! How does a person cope with hell?

Sorry you are feeling like this. I'm in peri-hell too. So many symptoms, so many tests 😦

I had lumpy breasts and went to breast clinic in Sept for mamogram and ultrasound. I have breast cysts which is apparently common in peri. Dr told me to wear a sports bra 24/7 for the pain. Although since finding out all was ok the pain has been much much less. I also get sore/achy armpits (definitely related to hormones).

    Hugs x

hi do your breasts burn or feel it in one of them? especially when you are sleeping? I've had 2 breast check 3 years ago and all fine apart from fibrodermas and superficial armpit lumps. Since last month I get burning sensation in my left breast especially run up to my period and when I'm on. Then it's less

      Hi sandeep08592

Yes definitely had a burning sensation and stabbing, itching. It felt like the skin would be hot to touch but it never was. Was mainly my right breast. I've got breast cysts and lumps in both armpits which I've had for years and have had ultrasounds on them and they are benign. Since the mamogram and ultrasound in September the pain has got much much less and only happens occasionally now (which goes to show how the brain can make these things worse when I obsess).

      Hugs xxx

thanks so much yes you are so right anxiety makes it worse. Everytime I've had a scan my pain goes!

I had my booster on Tuesday and my arm still sore but now I've got really bad neck ache like I've had some kind of whip slash. I'm sitting here with a hot water bottle on my neck!

oh what a brilliant weekend I've got!
