Hi everyone I have removed my gallbladder since July 17. I am on low diet and eating steam fish and chicken or grilled. I am on brown rice.
Now I realise I cannot eat meat at night and must have light dinner. Like I had potatoes carrot and 2 table spoon brown rice last night I had nausea around 9pm
Everyday my dinner is at 630pm. Is anyone experiencing this

You might want to try a digestive enzymes with lipase in them. There is one product called lypo gold with lipase which is specifically for people that don't have a gallbladder . I can't take that one seems to be too strong for me but I still have my gallbladder . There are many digestive enzymes out there you may have to just try what works best for your body and if you do a search on Amazon you'll find all kinds of natural products for gallbladder problems .When I first began having gallbladder problems I started taking digestive enzymes and it made a world of difference. I can't eat without taking them or I have lots of issues. There are also other things like bitters that help with digestion.

I've been having problems for about 5 years now and they have done several hida scans and ultrasounds and have not found a specific cause but my GI doc and several emergency room doctors all feel but I have gallbladder disease because it is the classic foods and symptoms. I've had to completely give up eggs ,nuts dairy and pork. I eat super healthy lots of fresh vegetables and fruits grass-fed beef xcetera but there is strong family history of gallbladder issues which I just found out about. My GI doc doesn't recommend surgery to find out the cause or remove gallbladder because he said it's not effective for everyone and some people end up having the same issues after surgery. I had a HIDA scan back in October and for 2 weeks after the HIDA scan I was up every night couldn't sleep horrible stomach, right side, right shoulder pain and degraded to the point that I could not eat any meat or fat- try to eat some tofu and couldn't even handle that protein was in horrible pain . A week after the Hida I ended up calling the ambulance because of the right shoulder and stomach pain. I also have IBS and have to follow a low oxalate diet so I was in a mess and couldn't eat very many foods and lost 7 lb in like 4 days. The first HIDA scan years ago didn't bother me but this one really made me sick and it took me a month befor I could get back to eating a little bit of chicken breast and 2 months before I could go back to eating dark meat chicken and lean red meat. I take a digestive enzyme from Melaleuca but you have to have a membership and order a certain amount of Melaleuca products each month. I have been trying other digestive enzymes so I can have a backup in case something happens and I can't get the Melaleuca because I can't eat without my digestive enzymes without having a lot of issues. So far I have been through 3 different brands that didn't work or hurt my stomach. The brand I was referring to in the post that I have taken in the past that is targeted specifically for those that have no gallbladder or with gallbladder issues is lypo gold by enzymedica. I took that for years and it worked but they change the formula and made it stronger and it doesn't work as well for me now. But everybody's body is different and when I worked at the health food store a lot of people liked that brand of digestive enzymes. I also take activated charcoal when I am having gas, right side and shoulder pain and it is even better than the prescription that was given to me for antispasmotics. Supposedly research shows homeopathic doesn't work and other research shows that it can be effective don't know what to believe but I have something I take homeopathic that I swear helps too.

Thanks for your detailed reply. Intially I was having lot of indigestion and diagnosed with gastritis and then HIDA scan shows gb not working and after 6 years I got gallstones...I'm leaning towards removing gallbladder hoping it will fix ...what were your HIDA scan ejection fraction %? Are you not planning to remove gallbladder? The reason I ask in this 10 years keeping the non working gb, I went through different tough stages of indigestion and it has become only worst for me. But when I felt those are bad days, now with the current problems, I felt those days were good. So after gb removal not sure how it's going to be.

Nothing showed up as far as ejection fraction but because the cck replicated symptoms and made me so sick they feel that there is something going on with the gallbladder. My doctor is not recommending removal because he feels like I'm not a severe enough case for that. I agree because I have have some bad episodes but for the most part was managing it well until I went on the estrogen. My GM Dr put a gallbladder diagnosis in the system so all my doctors would be alerted about medications that could bother my gallbladder since this happened with the estrogen. I have talked to so many people who have had gallbladder taken out who are still having a lot of problems, still can't eat any of the foods that were problematic and often many of them have horrible chronic diarrhea. I'm not in chronic pain anymore just have to avoid the foods which I would have to do with gallbladder out anyway probably. I have talked to some people who have done the stone breaker herb chanca piedra and it has helped their gallstones. There are people that swear by the gallbladder flush but I'm not sure I believe in it and it made me very sick and I lost 5 lb in 3 days will never do that again. If you are interested in taking supplements/ herbs you can put a search in Amazon and then read reviews of people -that's how I found different products and how I found out about the homeopathic spray I take - it had very good reviews. The spray has like lycopodium and other ingredients in it and I have taken like a lycopodium by itself when in the midst of a gallbladder attack and it helped me. I think it's about finding out what diet and what supplements work best for your body. A lot of people are bothered by coffee but two cups a day actually help my tummy but anything over that can bother me. I haven't been able to do coconut oil lately without having gallbladder issues but I can do grass-fed butter with no problems.
