Know exactly how you feel weesue, I was the exact same in the months leading up to my first repair and hysterectomy.
It was so very painful and could barely function at all during the day. however was partially my own fault as I was initially not wanting surgery and really fearful of the future having read a lot of negative outcomes and was determined to try intensive physio first having pulled back up a very mild prolapse in the past. Just wouldn't accept that it was too far gone, and by the time I realized I had no choice but to go for surgery had to wait to see consultant again and then on the list for surgery.
I think for many of us we do try to avoid surgery but then get to point where we have no life and then want that back before considering surgery.
Don't understand how some health professionals can say that prolapse isn't painful, well seen there men!!
Think I was 8 months from trying first pessary (6 months from second pessary), till I had surgery.
While second pessary was better fit and worked for little while eventually prolapse was so bad pessary kept falling out and I was getting really irritated and sore with use.
Having said that a lady iny work just now using pessary and has worked out very well for her, been u ding it for a number oh months now without any problems. So maybe works well if prolapse not to far advanced.
Hope things improve soon,
Healing hugs

I understand now, yes physio wouldn't be any help to you however you should keep doing the pelvic floor exercises because it will hopefully help strengthen the surrounding muscles.

That website is mainly adverts and it isn't recognised by the Royal College of Gynaecologists. Advice regarding pelvic floor exercises following prolapse surgery should only be on the advice of the patients urogynaecologist.
