Dr upped me to 40mg and I went into a panic state also make little memory of it. From panic to cleaning the house at a million miles per hour. I'm now taking less. Already slightly calmer. I'm freaked out to what the hell is wrong with me, bipolar ?? Or can this just happen

I doubt bipolar ... I imagine it would be side effects of the medicine.  I'm on Citalopram, which is an SSRI like Fluoxetine, and at first I had heightened anxiety, and one morning it woke me up and I had to leap out of bed and run around to cope with it.  I just couldn't settle.  It was very weird.  It wore off eventually, but did freak me out.

If you do get your dose upped, maybe try easing into it by cutting up the tablets and taking 5mg at a time over a few weeks, eventually getting to the 40mg.

It was awful I was so so scared and on edge my head couldn't handle it then I went Manic later on even though I only had 6hrs sleep in 2days. Iv heard this reaction can happen on SSRIs if ur bipolar. I'm unaware of the condition though

    Hey honey

Hope youre feeling better and calmed down a bit? Remember you're hormones will still be running wild after the baby too which is gonna complicate things further. If you can try to get cbt or something similar, it's all worth a try.

    Thinking of you. Take care

    HUGE HUGS !

    Vix xx
