Upper left abdominal pain with neausea and belching

Have right upper abdominal pain with neausea and belching. Had gallbladder tested but doc said it was ok. Had H-PYLORI LAST year and it was eradicated. Am recuperating from prostate surgery right now. But the neausea , belching and pain is constant. So worried about the pancreas now. Stool is not clay or tan looking. No fever or jaundice. Think my doctor really messed up here. Anyone with any comments would be welcomed.

Since you’re recuperating it’s hard to get a clear sense of what’s going on in your body. After a surgery, your body is going to be in a lot of pain from gas. The gas alone will make you nauseous and cause abdominal pain. If it were your pancreas then you would be in debilitating pain, vomiting, pain after eating, acid reflux, pain that radiates to your back on the left side. I’m sure you know your body and if you think it’s your pancreas then you can ask for a blood test but it may show elevated levels because you’re recuperating. It also may be side effects from any medication you’re taking. I don’t know how long ago your surgery was, but sometimes it can take up to two weeks before the gas goes away. I’ve had probably 25 surgeries (lost count after 15) and I have to get surgery every 2 months on my pancreas. The gas afterwards can be horrible and painful. I would contact your doctor and ask if there’s anything you can take over the counter. I get a lot of swelling after surgery but I’m allowed to take Tylenol (not Aspirin) and that helps a lot BUT I had my doctor’s permission. If anything, talk with a nurse or doctor.

Bless your heart with all the surgeries. Mine was on May 1st. The neausea , pain , belching started on the 9th. Also have acid reflux and gastritis. The pain is just left of center on the left side , not the right. Also notice quite a bit of foam in the toilet when I urinate. That worries me. I guess my mind is just running away with me. Makes me think of kidney deseased. Need to just calm down I guess. Thanks for you reply again.
