Using benzos again

Hi, some months ago I abused on lorazepam, massive dose but only for about one month.. I haven't had a real withdrawal, just some anxiety (mainly caused by my fear of getting symptoms) and some muscular pain/spasms.

Now I am feeling good but wanted to ask for some info: I drink a lot of alcohol and I heard that this gave major trouble to peolpe who went through wd, I haven't had any problem, I just noticed that my hangovers after benzos are very milder than before, and I like this. My question is: could I use again some benzos? Alcohol didn't kindle anything so I think that I didn't get dependant on them and that i could use them occasionally, what do you think about it?

Very, very bad thing to do.

Alcohol will never make you feel better. And I dont know where you even got this idea from? It may helo with anxiety when you get drunk - it has the “sedation effect”but it will bite you on the ass as soon as you stop being intoxicated - and as a result: will make your anxiety worse.

I would suggest to find a psychiatrist and do therapy, psycodrama therapy and get under medications that will help you.

Do not go back on benzo’s unless your dr says so.

Sorry for being harsh, but i cant believe you think alcohol will “kindle anything”.

I am currenty speaking from a position of a person that is in xanax withdraw situation, with extreme anxiety. And after i found out what this is, i never want to go back to it again.

    I wish you a lot of luck❤️

Benzo's such as Lorazepam can be horrific to come off especially when abused. Stay well away unless prescribed if I was you. I got addicted to Diazepam and have been tapering off it for nearly a year now. Unable to work it has been horrendous!

    Hi,

Do not even think about using benzos. If you are free of them, stay there!!!!

I am trying to come off diazepam after being on it for 22 years, prescribed I might add. Do not add them to your drinking. seek help please.

No such thing as the occasional benzo!!!!!

    Good luck
