For about three years now I’ve had yellow sticky type discharge this also comes with pain when urinating and itchiness. I have been to the doctors countless times, they diagnosed me with thrush. I have been on three different types of antibiotics and tried countless over the counter medicines and yet it is still there. I don’t know what to do anymore. Should I go back to my doctors yet another time? A part of me thinks it can’t be thrush as I didn’t think yellow discharge was associated with this infection. May I mention that I am also on the pill.

Yeah if you have thrush then taking antibiotics will actually do more harm than good. Think of antibiotics as bomb for your system it clears everything out in your system without discerning what is good or bad for you in your system. Which is killing the healthy bacteria in your stomach. Allowing the unhealthy yeast to grow. I would recommend for you to do research on yeast diets or cleanses. It’s going to be very difficult and time consuming since we are talking strict and lengthy diets that you will be doing. But it will be worth it once the yeast is under control. You will also will need to be taking in conjunction with the your diet certain herbal supplements that work well at killing off yeast infections. I’m currently dealing with Cándida myself. I’ve started a certain kind of diet that I’ve completely removed alcohol, artificial sweeteners and even some natural sweetners ( you need to be careful and research what kind of sugars you can have, I’m allowing myself to have stevia which is allowed during a Cándida diet). I’ve also removed carbs, any vegetable that are starchy, fruits that are high in sugar, and primarily eating greens with certain protein. I can have meat but usually avoid red meats and stick to chicken or turkey. I also avoid dairy unless it’s greek yogurt without sugar added because it’s high in protein and probiotics. I only drink water or if possible low sugar fermented drinks such kombucha or kavita. Then when I’m finally when I’m feeling healthier during the spring I will start doing a Cándida herbal cleanse since i know I will be experiencing die off and I really don’t want to feel worse during the winter when everybody is sick. And potentially catch something. So if you any questions feel free to ask.
