Vaginal pimples and painful urination. Help!

Posted , 5 users are following.

Been dealing with painful/burning urination and just some vaginal itching here and there in the last 3 days. Did my urine checks and they all came back normal.

The vaginal itching is not persistent.some times its more expressed than others.

while checking myself, since the burning continues, noticed these tiny white pimples on the inside of my labia.

they're not painful to touch and just a little bit itchy at times.

they got me worried it may be a beginning of vag herpes or smth.

only had one sexual partner in my whole life, since february and never before did i experience smth like this.

Pictures slightly blurry, but it looks like it could be herpes.

HSV is NOT tested for on regular STD tests, and you definitely were not tested for it if you had a urine test done.

The painful urination can also be a symptom of HSV, which is often misdiagnosed as a yeast infection.

My first outbreak started with itching, felt like a yeast infection, then the painful urination. Went in and they said it was probably a yeast infection, swabbed for yeast and a few other STIs (not herpes.

That night i noticed the sores.

Went back in the next day and was visually diagnosed, swabbed and then got the official results.

HSV can be transmitted by oral sex from someone who gets cold sores, even if they havent had one in years.

It can also be transmitted genitally if youve used condoms since its skin to skin transmission.

Your best bet is to go back and get a swab, most accurate within 72 hours of them appearing.

If its been more than that, you risk a false negative. So id recommend in 4 months getting an IGG type blood test.

if if is herpes give the antivirals a day or so you will feel so much better!

tea tree oil or lavender oil mixed with a bit of coconut oil can help dry things up! just dab it on with a cotton bud!

using the cool air from a hair dryer helps!

peeing while running water down there and also lignocaine gel is a god send 😃

i hope you feel better soon! it gets easier x
